We are justified by faith through Jesus Christ

Galatians 2: 16 – “No man is justified by law, but by faith in Christ Jesus.”

Regardless of the number of rituals we do in a lifetime, no matter how righteous we may seem; that is not enough to justify sin. The only way we can be forgiven is by believing on Jesus Christ, which is done through faith; Romans 10:17 – “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10: 9 – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

The truth about her

Confident on the outside

Nervous on the inside

The shoulder for another to lean

Only supported by a fragile brace

Raging emotions

Buried beneath the softest voice

A problem solver

Lost in her own riddle

One that dries up the tears of others

But is soaked in her own

The toughest warrior

With open wounds under her armor

The receiver of broken souls

And the giver of hugs

She is the perfect woman

But that is only in the eyes of all

Deep down within her

She is still trapped and tangled by insecurity

No one can see

No one knows

Sometimes all she needs is just a hug

Or a smile

A simple hello

Or ‘how are you’

Oh, but how these are rare to a woman like she.

How to be successful and prosperous in the things you do

Firstly, to begin the year and to be successful in the things you do, one must be aware of a few essential instructions to life; they are as follows:

 

Step One:

 

Matthew 6:33 – “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

 

Notice the following: 

“(1) Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God, and

 (2) His righteousness; and

(3) ALL these things shall be added unto you.”

 

Above are the three instructions to success and prosperity in the things in your life.

 

Ø  May it be my prayer and yours to seek the LORD today. To draw closer to Him each day, to love Him all the more each hour and to want to please Him in all that we do

Ø  Then and only then shall all these things be added unto you: knowledge, wisdom, good grades, success, understanding, peace, joy, love, deliverance from anger, jealousy, self-pity, ignorance etc.

Ø  God is faithful and just to His Word, we just have to do our part. All that God asks of us is to do is to surrender our lives wholly and completely to Him.

 

The formula is: Seek(Kingdom of God +His righteousness) = all these things shall be added unto you.

 

How do you know if you are on the right track:

Matthew 6:34 -
"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

 

- May this verse be a guideline to us to see whether we are on track or not. To seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness first, means that we will not worry about tomorrow for in Him do we place our trust. 

- If you are able to sleep peacefully at night without worrying about what you will do the next day, or what you will eat or where you will sleep. Then let this be a confirmation to you are on the right track.

 

Step Two:

 

This second step, for success applies to those of us who are “dependents”, those of us who are still dependent on a benefactor  to meet our needs.

 

Ephesians 6: 1-3

“CHILDREN, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right

Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with a promise ;)

That it may be well with thee, that thou mayst live long on the earth.”

 

 

Notice the following:

 

1.       “CHILDREN, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right

2.       Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with a promise ;)

3.       That it may be well with thee, that thou mayst live long on the earth.”

 

As benefactors, in order to be successful according to God this step must also be fulfilled:

 

The formula is: obedience + honouring = thou mayst live long on the earth

Psalm 105: 1-5

Psalm 105
105:1	O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
105:2	Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
105:3	Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

The strong ones

So much emotion swells within me;

but what to do of it?

Hurt emotions and feelings passed by unattended

Tears locked within surrounded by a concrete wall

People who said they would be there for you

Don’t have the time to listen

Every man caught up in his agenda

What of you?

You hearts dreams? Your biggest fears? Deepest secrets?

To whom do You confined these?

No, not to the ones who promise to be there for you

But to the ones who don’t

The ones who allow their tears to roll in front of you;

And the ones who don’t have a brave face

They are the real strong ones

For within that fragile wall

There is comfort, assurance and strength

These ones are more than what some of us pretend to be
