Why Me?

"Why me Lord?
Whatever I have ever done
To deserve even one
Of the pleasures I've known
Tell me Lord
What did I ever do
that was worthy loving you
Or the kindness you've shown

Lord help me Jesus
I've wasted it so
Help me Jesus I know what I am
Now that I know
That I've needed you so
Help me Jesus my soul is in your hands

Try me Lord
If you think there is a way
I could ever repay
All I've taken from you
Maybe Lord
I could show someone else
What I have been through myself
On my way back to you"
~Gaither Vocal Band: Why Me~

Let this be our prayer this morning to surrender to God; to place our soul in the palm of His Divine Hand so that He can use us for His Will.

God's been Good

" Lately I've been looking out along life's winding road
To the old familiar markers of the mercy's I have known
And though it may sound simple, it's more that a cliche
There's no other way to tell you than to say:

God's been good in my life
I feel blessed beyond my hopes and dreams
When I face each day as it dawns
Though I've had my share of hard times
I wouldn't trade one if I could
'Cause through it all
God's been good."

Thank you Lord for another brand new day; fill us with Your Holy Spirit and give us a new song today to praise Your Name.

" When you're hanging by a thread still you can climb life's mountain; though the cliffs are rough and jagged you can cope. If you should slip and reach rope's end, you'll find the hem of His garment. So don't let go of that last thread of hope.!"

~Tread of Hope: Jeff and Sheri Easter~

" When you are entrusted with a task from God, ensure that you carry out that task with your whole heart and to the best of your ability coupled with God's wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
 Along the way if you loose sight of God's calling in your life and drift away, make sure that you come back. God has a task that needs to be achieved and if you are given that golden opportunity grasp it; He could always use another vessel but He choose you.

REMEMBER: He is not going to allow His mission to be stagnant because of you;
Do not allow yourself to miss God's calling in your life because you are too caught up in the world. Why would you allow yourself to settle for God's second choice when He gave you His best?"

Monday 8 June 2015

"The beginning of another month; thank You Father for bringing me thus far.
As semester winds down, it is a good time to reflect to see what you have done for the Lord. Whether you have made use of your time this semester to make a difference for Christ or whether you have wasted God's time by worrying about you're own petty problems? Have you used this time to take a step forward in your faith or have you been stagnent? Did you learn anything though your trials so far or have you been self-centered?

Life is too short to be worrying about yourself. If Christ had thought of Himself rather than The Father's Will, I do not believe we would have Salvation. We must all aspire to have Christ-like characters, to keep focus on our mission as Christian's here on earth, which is: "To lead others to the Cross"

Christian's are the guardian's here on earth to guide others to the Cross, to show the way to the Father. This is the soul purpose of our lives.

Romans 6:18 - "Being then made free from sin, ye became servants of righteousness."

Finding Positivity

"Patience comes when you become tired of complaining;
Happiness comes when you become tired of being sad;
Peace comes when you bacome tired of being angry;
Hope comes when you become tired of always feeling like you're losing"

Footsteps of Christ

"Follow the footsteps of Christ; it's the only way to be a better person. We must all aspire to reach a certain spiritual level in which we realize that the soul of a person is much more important than the outward appearance." ~Hally Andraa~

God wants to use you

Romans 8:18 -
" And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

God is wanting to use you in a mighty way, but He will not unless you let Him. Do not harden your heart to the Holy Spirit; allow God to show you your purpose on this earth and with His help you can fulfill His wishes.

Living for Christ

As Christian’s we should live a life that is pleasing to God. The reason why many people tend to backslide or lose focus on their purpose here on earth is because they forget what Christ did for them thousands of years ago on Calvary.

As sinners we are all dammed to hell because our Heavenly Father is a Just God; but He sent His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ who was the ultimate sacrifice and through His blood our sins have been pardoned.

Many people do not know of this truth and most Christian’s tend to forget to remind themselves of this fact; that it was through God’s Grace that they have been pardoned; this grieves the Holy Spirit.

Remember that each day is a gift; imagine what the world would be like if everyone lived each day as though Christ were coming tomorrow.

Our purpose on earth as Christian's is to lead others to Christ whether it be by our actions, speech or how we interact with others. Remember what Christ did for you and tell someone else today about the Love of God.

Peace.

"This world is designed by the Creator, in that after a storm there is always a beautiful sunrise, but it takes a person who is willing to rise up early, regardless of what had happened the previous night, just to witness that wonderful ray of hope in the morning. Peace is that stillness within yourself when you accept the situation that you are in and you focus on the solution, rather than the problem." -Hally Andraa-

Beautiful Madang

There is so much more to life out here in the Pacific; this is a beautiful scenic view of how a river flows out from within the mountains into the sea. Oh God is SO GOOD.

Humbled.

I am humbled when I count the many things I ALREADY have, only to find that I did not ask for ANY of them. God MET MY NEEDS before I even opened my mouth.

Example: Food, clothing. shelter, loving home, family and friends and the list goes on.

Life's Spice

I quit before I tried for it seemed hopeless;
And then I tried but got dropped like roses...

I searched and searched ...

Came back to the start;
Only to be squashed, flat like a tart.

I've learned my lesson...

It won't happen twice;
For hardships are what we call "life's spice"
