“ Lord please, I pray in Jesus Name, that Thy Word be a mirrored image for me to reflect mine life upon;

that I may heed Thy correction and make a permanent change.  That from Thy Word may I not only have the wisdom to live a godly life that bringeth honour and glory unto Thou, but that I may be Thy vessel to mentor others to live a life that is pleasing unto Thou;

In Jesus Name,

Amen.”

Distance.

" Distance. A test to see how far love can travel; the art of learning to be patient. Distance. Two people on parallel paths heading towards the same junction in life. Distance. Learning to walk alone; TOGETHER.  Distance. When time turns into a brick wall that eventually gets higher and thicker between the both of you. Distance. Teaches you to trust that the other people won't leave you at the junction alone. Finally, at the end of the junction; when your parallel paths become conjoined; no matter what life throws at you; the disappointments, trials and the hardships; you will never forget that junction. Where regardless of distance; that person did not leave you there alone. Distance sets the foundation of commitment and trust. It is the process that moulds one to be an effective contributor towards the relationship. Because both know what it is like to be alone and appreciate companionship." :)

The Lord is nigh unto the broken hearted

Psalm 34: 18 -19; 22
18) “The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19) Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delievereth him out of them all.”
22) “The LORD redeemeth the soul of His servants: and none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate.”

Father, Please give me strength

"Father, please give me strength and patience to await Thy perfect plan; Faith to keep me moving; wisdom to find joy through my testings and peace to know that You are still in control. Open mine eyes Father, to see Your Hand and Thy will in my life. In Jesus Name, Amen."

Psalm 38

Psalm 38
38:1 A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
38:2 For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.
38:3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
38:4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
38:5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
38:6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
38:7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.
38:8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
38:9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
38:10 My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
38:11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.
38:12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
38:13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
38:14 Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
38:15 For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.
38:16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
38:17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
38:18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
38:19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
38:20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
38:21 Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
38:22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation

Deuteronomy 30: 19-20

Deuteronomy 30: 19-20

19. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
20. That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
Through our sufferings God teaches us; humility, to be patience, to rely on Him alone. God has a plan for us; we just have to wait on Him to see and truly understand WHY things happen the way they do.

WEEKEND

alas, the ending of another week.
Despite the trials, heartaches and problems that have been faced this week, thank God for bringing me safely and in one piece today.

When I think about the LORD, and how far He alone has brought me through all these years; how He has kept me and continues to hold me up in the Palm of His hand where no man, or spirit can touch me; I feel overwhelmed and know that I am truly blessed.

I am truly blessed to know of a Saviour such as Jesus Christ my LORD. I am truly blessed to know such a Sovereign God as God the Father, Jehovah Shammah, God who is ALWAYS present.

May God bless you this weekend.

Isaiah 53

53:1
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
53:2
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
53:3
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
53:4
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
53:6
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
53:7
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
53:8
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
53:9
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
53:10
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
53:11
He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
53:12
Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Psalm 3

1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

God is faithful

Psalm 107: 43 – “Whoso is WISE, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving-kindness of the Lord.”

Psalm 107, this chapter is a classic example of God’s mercy, love and grace upon us. So many times we let God down, but is NEVER fails to forgive us when we ask for forgiveness. God is so good and is truly worthy to be praised. Verse 43, sums up the entire chapter PERFECTLY! “Whoso is WISE will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the LORD” it cannot be put any simpler. Just by reading this chapter, one can clearly see how loving and kind God is.!

"Thank You Father for Your constant forgiveness upon my life

I am a sinner who is not even worthy to be called Thy child

But I thank You for loving me anyway

I know I let You down EVERYDAY

I thank You for Your LOVE that is so big, You forgive me each time

Give me the strength to love You back with all my heart, mind, might and soul

In Jesus Name,

Amen."

Coming in and going out

"Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out." ~Deuteronomy 28:6~

"The blessings of the law are not cancelled. Jesus confirmed the promise when He bore the penalty. If I keep the commands of my Lord, I may appropriate this promise without question.

This day I will come into my house without fear of evil tidings, and I will come into my closet expecting to hear good news from my Lord. I will not be afraid to come in unto myself by self-examination, nor to come into my affairs by a diligent inspection of my business. I have a good deal of work to do indoors within my own soul; oh for a blessing upon it all, the blessing of the Lord Jesus, who has promised to abide with me.

I must also go out. Timidity makes me wish that I could stay within doors and never go into the sinful world again. but I must go out in my calling, and I must go out that I may be helpful to my brethren and useful to the ungodly. I must be a defender of the faith and an assailant of evil. Oh, for a blessing upon my going out this day! Lord, let me go where Thou leadest, on Thy errands, under Thy command, and in the power of Thy Spirit.

Lord Jesus, turn in with me and be my guest; and then walk out with me, and cause my heart to burn while You speak with me by the way."
