Day 2: You are NOT an accident

Isaiah 44:2 – “Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.”

I am not an accident. My birth was not a mistake, regardless of what people tell me or how I feel about myself. I may not have been planned by my parents, but my very existence in this place, at this exact time was all planned by God.
“The LORD will fulfil His purpose for me”
Every single detailed feature of me was designed by the very hands of God, He chose my race, my skin colour, my hair, my body shape and every other feature. I am custom-made by God, with natural talents coupled with my  unique personality according to His liking.
“You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; you know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.”
God had planned my life, where I’d be born, how long I’ll live, where I will live for His purpose, my race, my nationality, every good thing and bad thing that has happened in my life and all that is to come; God knows it all, it was all planned for His divine purpose. Nothing in my life “just happens”. It doesn’t matter my family background, whether I come from a wealthy family, middle-class, struggling family, a family of one parent, of two parents, no parents or even three parents; whether I have one sibling, many siblings or no siblings; whether I live with immediate family, extended family or alone – all these individuals were planned by God to mould my and shape me to be what God wants me to be. My Heavenly Father, NEVER makes mistakes, so why should I think that things happen by accident?
“Long before you were conceived by my parents, I was conceived in the mind of God”
God’s motive for creating me was His LOVE! God is love and He created me so He could love me! Thank You Jesus! This is a truth I need to build my life upon.
God did not NEED to create me, He was NOT lonely, there was PERFECT fellowship between the Trinity. But I was created so that God could express His Divine, pure and selfless love. If there was no God, we would all just be “accidents”,

Romans 12:3 –  “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
You are who you are for a reason
You’re part of an intricate plan
You’re a precious and perfect unique design,
Called God’s special woman or man

You look like you look for a reason
Our God made no mistake.
He knitted you together within the womb,
You’re just what He wanted to make.

The parents you had were the ones He chose,
And no matter how you may feel,
They were custom-designed with God’s plan in mind,
And they bear the Master’s seal.

No, that trauma you faced was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into His likeness you’d grow

You are who you are for a reason
You’ve been formed with the Master’s rod
You are who you are, beloved
Because there is a God!”

Thinking about my purpose:
·     I am not an accident – Isaiah 44:2 – “Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.”
Question to consider:
I know that God uniquely created me. What areas of my personality, background, and physical appearance am I struggling to accept?
